By accessing or using Tunify ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tunify provides AI-generated DIY car modification guides researched from publicly available sources using large language models and automated web search. Guides are produced algorithmically and are not written, reviewed, or verified by automotive professionals. They may contain errors, omissions, or information that does not apply to your specific vehicle, region, or legal jurisdiction.

3. Safety Disclaimer

All guides are for informational purposes only. Before acting on any information in a guide, you must understand and accept the following:

Warranty: Modifications may void your vehicle manufacturer's warranty, in whole or in part.
Legality: Certain modifications may be illegal in your country, state, or region. You are solely responsible for verifying whether any modification is permitted under applicable law before proceeding.
Injury and death: Improper installation of vehicle modifications:particularly on safety-critical systems such as brakes, suspension, steering, fuel systems, or electrical systems:can cause serious injury or death. Never perform safety-critical work without consulting a qualified, licensed mechanic.
Vehicle damage: Incorrect modifications may cause permanent damage to your vehicle.
Professional consultation: Always consult a qualified mechanic before performing any work on safety-critical systems. Do not rely solely on this or any AI-generated guide for such work.

You assume full responsibility for any work you undertake based on information from this Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

All guides on Tunify are produced using large language models (AI) and automated web research tools. They are labelled as AI-generated on each guide page. Tunify makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of any guide. Sources cited or linked within guides are retrieved automatically and may be inaccurate, outdated, or inapplicable to your vehicle.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date.

Refunds: Tunify does not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If a refund is required by applicable law, contact support@tunify.io

EU/EEA consumers:right of withdrawal: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you ordinarily have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital service contract without giving a reason. By subscribing and requesting that your subscription begins immediately, you acknowledge that the Service is supplied immediately and you expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal. If you do not wish to waive this right, do not activate your subscription.

Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback for a charge that was properly authorised under these Terms, Tunify reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account.

6. Rate Limits and Usage

Each plan includes a daily or weekly limit on car researches (looking up vehicle specifications and modification potential). The following applies to all limits:

What counts as one research: Looking up a car's technical specifications or modification potential for a given make, model, year, and trim counts as one research. Viewing saved results or guides you have already generated does not count.
Reset time: Daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Weekly limits reset at the start of Monday UTC.
No rollover: Unused researches do not carry over to the next period.
Guests: Unregistered visitors are limited by IP address and share a weekly allowance.

Limits are applied per account. Attempting to circumvent limits (for example, by using multiple accounts or shared credentials) is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.

7. Community Data

Tunify allows users to submit community feedback on guides, including "Worked for me" confirmations, "Had issues" reports, and step-level flags. By submitting community feedback:

You grant Tunify a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use that feedback to improve the Service and inform other users.
Community feedback is displayed in aggregate (e.g., "12 people confirmed it worked") and is not attributed to you by name.
Tunify does not sell community feedback to third parties.
Feedback data associated with your account is deleted when you request erasure of your account data (see our Privacy Policy).

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to: scrape, copy, or redistribute guide content at scale; reverse-engineer the Service; create accounts for the purpose of circumventing limits; or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tunify and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, any guides generated by it, or any modifications you make to your vehicle. This includes, without limitation, vehicle damage, personal injury, death, property damage, warranty voiding, or legal consequences arising from modifications.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
